So I wrote yesterday or something that I was thrown out of the club for wearing slippers. Last night, I went out again, to this place called ‘WAREHOUSE’. There were 6 guys and only me. We reached the place at 2:00 AM. All the clubs in Dubai shut at 3:00 AM. We wanted to get in but they wouldn’t allow us because the club was too full. That’s the first time this has happened. I was not allowed to get into a club two times in a row. I was so pissed off. Anyway, the guy at the entrance finally let 2 of us in. Couples enter free most places. So we went in and tried to persuade the guy to let our other friends in but he was adamant. Eventually at about 2:30 he let them and 2 minutes later, the DJ’s console stopped working. This resulted in a lot of booing from the crowd.
We decided to leave and as soon as we reached the bottom of the stairs, the music started again. So we went back up for like 5 minutes and then left again. It was so stupid.
Today, I went to this mall called Oasis Center and just like yesterday I got lost. Again!! I don’t how many times it’s going to happen before I finally memorise all the roads. The problem with Dubai is, if you miss one turn, you are screwed. You have travel great and confusing distances to get back on trac. Which I did. Anyway, I reached and went shopping. Bought myself some nice stuff from ‘MAX’. It’s a budget shopping shop. My little sister wanted to eat some strangepop corn. It was available in flavors you can’t even imagine. It was gross.
After that we went to the French Bakery and got ourselves some yummy pastries and cookies which we couldn’t finish because they were too heavy. I finally reached home a lot happier than I was.
Just remember, if you’re driving in Dubai, make sure you keep your eyes open or have someone who knows the place well with you. Other you’re going to get lost very single time just like I do.
